When that person knew that the child is hungry and he/she will die soon with no food then why didn’t he feed him or why didn’t he help him to reach the food camp? What did he achieve by clicking the picture? Few applauds, some sympathy or handsome money? How impossible or difficult was it? He could have not only saved the child but saved his own life too. Since then, more than 3.4 million people, including actors, pop stars and footballers, have added their voices to the online campaign calling on governments to make the elimination of hunger their top priority. But outrage over the "horrifying figure" of 1 billion hungry people around the world, as it was described by former FAO head Jacques Diouf, has turned to embarrassment in some quarters in light of growing doubts about the accuracy of the number. There are a large number of beggar children, who are sent to beg and collect money. They are kept in pathetic conditions (no, they don't use makeup before they come to beg, they are kept in that condition, to gain your sympathy. Who will give money to a neat, tidy and well fed child? The money these kids collect is taken away from them. They are only given enough to survive. LINK
